About Scratch Index
State lotteries publish, for every scratch-off game, exactly which prizes remain unclaimed. They publish it badly: PDFs, buried HTML tables, one-off data portals — formats nobody comparison-shops with. The most decision-relevant public dataset in the category is effectively unreadable at the point of sale.
Scratch Index fixes the format problem. Every morning we crawl three state lotteries, recompute the same metrics for every game (expected value on the remaining prize pool, estimated % sold, statistically tested luck), and publish the full table.

Who runs it
Scratch Index is an independent data project: not a lottery, not a ticket seller, and not paid by either. Contact: hello@scratchindex.com.
Two sister sites run on the same engine: Scratch Corner (a curated plain-English shortlist) and RaspaDatos (en español).
What we are not
- We don't sell tickets or take bets.
- Nobody pays to be ranked, and we run no lottery advertising.
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any state lottery.
- Nothing here improves your odds of winning. Every scratch-off is a negative-expected-value bet; we rank which games are least bad, never which will win.
